Hahoetal masks are the traditional Korean masks worn in the Hahoe Byeolsingut Talnori “Hahoe special ritual drama to the gods” originated in Andong Hahoe Village, Korea. 

*Talnori is a traditional Korean masked dance performance dating back to the 12th century. 

Made of wood, each mask has a unique facial expression that makes it difficult to tell if it is smiling or frowning, reflecting the life and culture of commoners in the past.
